Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: BJ-III on stationary observations

Dear colleagues,
BJ is doing 3-hourly rawinsonde launch until 06 or 12 UT
(13 or 19 WIB), and then leave the stationary point.
Weather is fine, with weak westerly and 1 m waves.
Observations will continue until 00 or 06 UT (07 or 13
WIB) on Dec.18, even after leaving the stationary point,
although daily telephone message will not be done during
coming two days (Saturday-Sunday).
Regards,
Manabu

Re:Re: [Muara Putus MPR Observation Report Dec 15, 2011

Dear Mori-san,

That was DPATC PPI. Here I attached PPI images for uncorrected PPI and DPATC PPI as comparison.

AWS and disdrometer at Sicincin (15 Dec 2011)

According to information from Pak Sugeng of BMKG on 15th, AWS and
disdrometer at Sicincin are working well.

Re: [Muara Putus MPR Observation Report Dec 15, 2011

Dear Ardhi:

Please tell me does the image show uncorrected dBZ? or DPATC dBZ?

Because MIA-XDR seldom detected such broad echoes over Sipora and
Siberut Islands because of rain attenuation if heavy echoes are observed
over the Menawai Strait.

best,

~morishu
