In Jakarta (Thamrin) it is fine throughout today (until 19 WIB).
As TL Mori suggests, the present MJO might be inactive/decaying.

BJ-IV is sailing without serious problems

Dear HARIMAU2011/SATREPS-MCCOE colleagues, Many thanks for your efforts.
(cc.Thanks also to Dr.Yamada/JAMSTEC for forwarding messages from BJ-IV)

Accoding to daily messages from Dr.Yoneyama and Dr.Kubota, BJ-IV is
sailing near 6.3S, 100.3E at around 13 JST (11 WIB) WSW-ward with 5-7 kt.
Although they felt waves probably from a cyclone yesterday, there are no
serious problems.

As a CINDY-related activity, they are planning to start rawinsonde
launching (6-hourly) and ocean-water sampling (3-hourly) from 06 UT
(13 WIB, 15 JST).

They will continue to sail for about two days more, and will stationary
observations at 8S, 95E.
