Today weather was fine until early afternoon, but becomes a
typical rainfall in the early evening (until now), which
looks ISV matching with the diurnal cycle.

In Jakarta (at least from Thamrin through Blok M) there are not
so strong rainfall until now, except a light very local shower
yesterday. Probably the center the phase of ISV and that of
the diurnal cycle are not matched at least at present. Anyway
a strong wind observed yesterday at Nontongga may suggest a sub-
system developed both by ISV and diunal cycle.

MJO is passing through Sumatera and Jawa
MJO indes and GSMaP show the MJO is passing through Sumatera and Jawa
Islands now.
Convective activities over Sumatera Island will suppressed from a few
days later.
However, I hope you will continue the 3-hourly sounding at Sipora until
MJO index reaches the western Pacific Ocean (- around 10 Dec?) for
further comparison with those at another sounding station along the MC
for example, Pontianak, Manado, and Biak.
